Power Station X An abandoned PowerStation dwarfs the rural landscape of central Belgium near the quiet town of Schelle. The colossal scale of this type of heavy industry provides the ultimate playground for urban explorers,photographers and climbers alike, with endless vertical and vertiginous facets awaiting to be explored and conquered. The closure of the station like so many others in Belgium must have created a serious depression to the local economy and once the station’s two giant chimneys are mothballed, redevelopment to the land will ensue. |
